Instance overview
Instances are basic building blocks of Maata they are used to collect ideas in short form they don't exceed 250 characters,where they are above those characters they are no longer a instance they became a Clause .
Instance features
These are main characteristics of a instance
- Instance is a short form of text.
- Instance content doesn't exceed 250 characters.
- Instance can be public or private.
- Instance has a short description describing the actual instance content.
- Instance has a name which is a one or two words summary of the instance content.
Create instance
From the image above you can create a instance in multiple ways:
- From a specific deployment/ consultation you create a instance using the
create instance
button down on the instances tab. - From a quick action on deployment page
You have to fill out the instance creation form and save it .
- name: is a summarized instance content is few word not more than 4
- content: is the actual full content of a instance which doesn't exceed 250 characters
- description: is a description of instance content
- open: this is to control who you want to view your instance
- auth: this is to control if a user has to own account or not to view the instance being created
View instance
View a instance you will see a instance in full details with all its meta data.
Edit instance
You can edit a instance in various:
Once you reach the page you adjust the instance as needed and save those changes
Instance settings
The instance settings page control instance in general from knowing the creator , to deleting the instance. From settings you get all the interactions around a instance such as comments, huddles, votes, attachments, endorsements ,...
Delete instance
You can delete a instance , with all the required credentials.
NB : This is an irreversible process procede with caution
Instance actions
This is a instance quick action menu , where you can start interaction around a instance using:
- Endorsements: this enables to give a instance an endorsement
- Comments: this enables to give a instance a comment
- Votes: this enables to give a instance a vote
- Huddles: this enables to give a instance a huddle
- Attachments: this enables to give a instance an attachment
