Comment overview
Comments are basic building blocks of Maata they are used to collect ideas in short form they don't exceed 250 characters,where they are above those characters they are no longer a comment they became a Clause .
Comment features
These are main characteristics of a comment
- Comment is a short form of text.
- Comment content doesn't exceed 250 characters.
- Comment can be public or private.
- Comment has a short description describing the actual comment content.
- Comment has a name which is a one or two words summary of the comment content.
Create comment
From the image above you can create a comment in multiple ways:
- From a specific deployment/ consultation you create a comment using the
create comment
button down on the comments tab. - From a quick action on deployment page
You have to fill out the comment creation form and save it .
- name: is a summarized comment content is few word not more than 4
- content: is the actual full content of a comment which doesn't exceed 250 characters
- description: is a description of comment content
- open: this is to control who you want to view your comment
- auth: this is to control if a user has to own account or not to view the comment being created
View comment
View a comment you will see a comment in full details with all its meta data.
Edit comment
You can edit a comment in various:
Once you reach the page you adjust the comment as needed and save those changes
Comment settings
The comment settings page control comment in general from knowing the creator , to deleting the comment. From settings you get all the interactions around a comment such as comments, huddles, votes, attachments, endorsements ,...
Delete comment
You can delete a comment , with all the required credentials.
NB : This is an irreversible process procede with caution
Comment actions
This is a comment quick action menu , where you can start interaction around a comment using:
- Endorsements: this enables to give a comment an endorsement
- Comments: this enables to give a comment a comment
- Votes: this enables to give a comment a vote
- Huddles: this enables to give a comment a huddle
- Attachments: this enables to give a comment an attachment
