Bill overview

Bills are basic building blocks of Maata they are used to make long form content of thousands of words which make up bills .

Bill features

These are main characteristics of a bill

  1. Bill is a long form of text.
  2. Bill can be public or private.
  3. Bill has a short description describing the actual bill content.
  4. Bill has a name which is a one or two words summary of the bill content.

Create bill

Bill new From the image above you can create a bill in multiple ways:

  1. From a specific deployment/ consultation you create a bill using thecreate bill button down on the bills tab.
  2. From a quick action on deployment page

You have to fill out the bill creation form and save it .

  • name: is a summarized bill content is few word not more than 4
  • content: is the actual full content of a bill which doesn't exceed 250 characters
  • description: is a description of bill content
  • open: this is to control who you want to view your bill
  • auth: this is to control if a user has to own account or not to view the bill being created

View bill

Bill View a bill you will see a bill in full details with all its meta data.

Edit bill

You can edit a bill in various: Bill edit

  1. From the bill view there is an edit button .
  2. From the bill settings there is an edit button

Once you reach the page you adjust the bill as needed and save those changes

Bill settings

The bill settings page control bill in general from knowing the creator , to deleting the bill. Bill setting From settings you get all the interactions around a bill such as comments, huddles, votes, attachments, endorsements ,...

Delete bill

You can delete a bill , with all the required credentials. Bill setting

NB : This is an irreversible process procede with caution

Bill actions

This is a bill quick action menu , where you can start interaction around a bill using:

  1. Endorsements: this enables to give a bill an endorsement
  2. Comments: this enables to give a bill a comment
  3. Votes: this enables to give a bill a vote
  4. Huddles: this enables to give a bill a huddle
  5. Attachments: this enables to give a bill an attachment
